him to repay it. And whoever takes it with the intention of ruining it, Allah Almighty ruins him."[1]

A Good Person's Debt is Always Repaid

Mufti Amad Yār Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه explains this hadith:

This means that if someone takes a loan with the intention from the very beginning not to repay it, intending to defraud the owner, such a person takes a loan unnecessarily and unlawfully. This hadith contains many lessons, and experience proves that a good person's debt is always repaid, whether they repay it during their lifetime or their heirs repay it after their death. If this also does not happen, then on the Day of Judgment, Allah Almighty will either have the creditor forgive the debtor's debt or grant the creditor the blessings of Paradise in exchange for the debt.[2]

Dear Islamic Brothers! In this world, people often have a need to take loans. Therefore, make a firm intention that whenever you take a loan, you will repay it with a sincere heart. If one’s intention is truthful, Allah Almighty makes the paths easy for him.

May Allah Almighty make us people of pure hearts and truthful intentions.
