Remaining Sunan and Etiquette of Tying a Imāmah

*    An imāmah should be tied while facing the Qiblah and standing.[1]

*    The Sunnah for an imāmah is that it should not be less than two and a half yards, nor more than six yards, and its tying should be dome-shaped.[2]

*    According to medical research, wearing an imāmah is very beneficial for headaches.

*    An imāmah strengthens the brain and improves memory. Wearing an imāmah prevents chronic flu, or if it still occurs, its effects are reduced.

*    An imāmah also protects the lower body from paralysis because the tail of the imāmah protects the spinal cord from seasonal effects such as cold and heat.

*    For more information on the virtues and benefits of the imāmah, please refer to the booklet "163 Madani Pearls" by the Maulana Ilyas Attar al-Qādirī دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ.
