respective heads. The four birds had now returned to life.
Allah Almighty proclaimed:
وَ اعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیْزٌ حَکِیْمٌ (۲۶۰)
And know that Allah is Predominant, Most-Wise.”[1]
Meaning, know that Allah Almighty is dominant, nothing can compel Him. He is Most-Wise, none of His actions are devoid of wisdom.[2]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
The Day of Judgement and its inevitability
Dear Islamic brothers! The amazing, faith-inspiring Quranic story we just heard contains a host of lessons for us.
Firstly, we see that the Day of Judgement is inevitable, and we will most certainly be resurrected after death. This is not difficult for Allah Almighty. He is the Creator and Owner. If He simply says کُنْ thousands of worlds can come into being. So, how could raising the dead pose him even the slightest difficulty.
Allah Almighty says:
فَاِنَّمَا ھِیَ زَجْرَۃٌ وَّاحِدَۃٌ (ۙ۱۳) فَاِذَا ھُمْ بِالسَّاھِرَۃِ (ؕ۱۴)
So it (the second blow) is but a reprimand. So suddenly they will be in an open plain.[3]
