Meaning the less modesty there is, the lower the level of faith. The more modesty there is, the stronger the degree of faith.[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Prophetic advice of Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم

Dear Islamic brothers! We have had the honour of discussing some accounts of Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم. Let us now listen to some of his wise words.

His encouraging of worship and piety

As mentioned in the noble Quran, Prophet Ibrāhīm عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم said to his nation:

اُعْبُدُوا اللّٰہَ وَ اتَّقُوْہُ ؕ

“Worship Allah and fear him;[2]

He called for two things: for his nation to worship Allah Almighty, and for them to become pious.

If only we truly did these two actions. We should worship Allah Almighty, offer prayer wholeheartedly, keep voluntary fasts if we can, recite the noble Quran, recite ṣalāt upon the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, and remember Allah Almighty abundantly. If Allah Almighty wills, we will become pious.

The merits of worship during ten specific nights in Dhū al-ijjah

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه The month of Dhū al-Ḥijjah has arrived. This is a month of
