Hazrat Ibrahim Ke Waqiyat

Book Name:Hazrat Ibrahim Ke Waqiyat

*    Total duration: 15 minutes

Remaining sunan and etiquettes regarding hospitality

*    When a guest in somebody’s home, never object to the food or any household matters, and do not offer any false flattery. A host should also not ask questions to his guest that may force them to lie, such as “How was our food?”, or, “Did you like it or not?” If the guest did not like the food, he may feel forced to lie out of courtesy to avoid offending the host. By lying, he will become sinful.

*    The host must also not ask, “Did you eat to your fill?” If the guest is accustomed to eating small amounts, eats less out of piety, or for any other reason, they may feel compelled to lie about being full to stop the host from insisting.

*    The host can infrequently tell the guest to eat more, but he should not insist upon this.[1]

*    If the guest is forced to eat more, this may pose as a health problem for them.

*    The host should neither sit there silently, nor should he present food and disappear. Rather, he should sit with his guests.[2]
