Book Name:Eminence of the faith of Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq
other through word of mouth. There is a big difference between the self-confidence and proclamation of truth of them both.
O those who love Allah’s Messenger! There is no doubt whatsoever in the truthfulness of the hadith of our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Whatever he said is the complete truth. The world can turn upside down, but what he said will always be true. So then, imagine the truthfulness of his experiences. The above-mentioned hadith was said out of both knowledge and experience. There is no room for even a percentage of doubt in them.
Let us now listen closely. The final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:
لَوْ وُزِنَ اِیْمَانُ اَبِی بَکْرٍ بِاِیْمَانِ اَہْلِ الْاَرْضِ لَرَجَحَ
If the faith of Abū Bakr was weighed alongside the people of the world’s faith, his would be heavier.
The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not say this only out of his blessed knowledge, but also from experience! In another hadith, he explained:
I saw I was in Paradise and a scale was brought forth. I was placed on one side, my nation was placed on the other, and I outweighed them. Then my nation was placed on one side and Abū Bakr on the other, and he outweighed them.[1]
