Eminence of the faith of Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq

Book Name:Eminence of the faith of Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq

Be Like iddīq al-Akbar

The Quran states:

كُوْنُوْا رَبّٰنِیّٖنَ

Become people of Allah.[1]

Abū Abbās Aā رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was asked, “Who has Allah ordered us to be like in this verse?”

He answered:

Allah commanded us to be like Sayyidunā Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ (because he is a righteous man, and there is no one like him after the Prophets علیہمُ السَّلام). His belief in Allah was unwavering, to the extent that no calamity or phenomenon caused him to have doubts about the Oneness of Allah.[2]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ Dear Islamic brothers! According to this explanation, the Quran instructs us to be like the first caliph of Islam, the confidant of the Prophet, the Companion of the Cave, Sayyidunā Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ.

The Quran also states:

وَّ اتَّبِـعْ سَبِیْلَ مَنْ اَنَابَ اِلَیَّۚ-

And follow the path of the one who returns to Me.[3]
