learning about the harms of negative assumptions, make an intention to always think well of your Muslim brothers.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                       صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Letter of Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ about the Blessed Mawlid

On behalf of Muhammad Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri عُفِیَ عَنْہُ to all devotees of the Prophet:

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُ اﷲ وَبَرکاتُہ، الحمدُ لِلّٰہ رَبِّ العٰلمینَ علٰی کلِ حال.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہ رَبِّ العٰلمین! Rejoice! The month of RabīꜤ al-Awwal is fast approaching, so make good intentions to commemorate the birth of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم this month. 

1.   Make the following announcement 3 times in the masjid when the moon is sighted: “Congratulations to all Islamic brothers and sisters. The moon of RabīꜤ al-Awwal has been sighted.”

2.   With the blessings of this month, every Islamic brother should make the intention to grow their beard to a fistful in length from now on. (It is forbidden to shave the beard or keep it less than a fistful. It is necessary to repent for doing so up to now and refrain from doing so again.)

3.   An excellent means of gaining consistency in performing good deeds and acting upon the Sunnah is for Islamic brothers to review their actions on a daily basis by filling in the Pious Deeds booklet. Once it is completed, submit it to a responsible Islamic brother on the first day of the new month. This booklet will increase your piety and your love for the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
