2. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: “Whoever loves Ḥasan and Ḥusayn loves me, and whoever is their enemy is my enemy.”[1]
3. The final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: هُمَا رَيْحَانَتَايَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا “Ḥasan and Ḥusayn are my two sweet basils in this world.”[2]
4. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: “Ḥasan and Ḥusayn are the leaders of the youth of Paradise.”[3]
Imam Ḥusayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was born on the 5th of ShaꜤbān 4 AH in Madina.[4] At the age of 55 years, 5 months and 5 days, he was martyred on Friday, 10th of Muharram, 61 AH.[5] He displayed the noble qualities of remaining firm upon the truth, courage, steadfastness, patience and acceptance of the divine decree.
An intellectual reached a conclusion that there are 3 principles of success:
1. The ability to bear hunger.
2. Waiting.
3. Ability to think and understand.
These three principles will now be explained in light of the events of Karbala. This tragic event contains all of these three things:
