صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Sunan and Etiquettes of wearing a Ring

Dear Islamic brothers! The renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ mentions the Sunan and etiquettes of wearing a ring in his book “163 Madani Pearls”. Here are some of them:

*   It is haram for a man to wear a gold ring, as the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم forbade men from wearing gold rings.^[1]

*   It is haram to adorn male children with jewellery made of silver and gold. Whosoever places such jewellery on the child will be sinful.^[2]
