Tilawat e Quran Ki Barkatain

Book Name:Tilawat e Quran Ki Barkatain

13.   If somebody recites incorrectly, it is necessary (wajib) upon the listener to correct him provided it does not create animosity or envy.[1]

14.   It is preferable (mustahab) to recite the Quran with tarteel (meaning, slowly and in a measured tone).

15.   During recitation, if you feel laziness and fatigue, you should stop reciting [for the time being] so that there is ease in reciting with attentiveness once the laziness ceases. The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Recite the Quran as long as your heart is attentive. When it begins to divert, then stop.”[2]

Dear Islamic brothers, to learn more about the etiquettes of reciting the Quran, read Amir Ahl al-Sunnah’s booklet entitled, ‘Excellence of reciting the Holy Quran’.

Sunnahs and etiquettes related to miswak

Dear Islamic brothers, let us listen to the Sunnahs and etiquettes pertaining to Miswak from Amir Ahl al-Sunnah’s booklet ‘163 Madani Pearls’. First, listen to two sayings of the Prophet رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ  :

1.   “Two units of prayer (rakah) offered after performing miswak are better than 70 units (rakaat) offered without miswak.”[3]

2.   “Make it necessary for yourself to use miswak because it results in cleanliness of the mouth and the pleasure of Allah.”[4]
