those who possess consciousness of Allah Almighty and who have abstinence can become close to Him.

Allah Almighty Himself states in the Holy Quran:

Indeed, the most honourable amongst you, according to Allah, is the one who is most pious amongst you.[1]

In various places of the Quran, Allah Almighty also describes the religious and worldly benefits granted to those who adopt piety.

Forgiveness

The people of piety are given the ability to discern between truth and falsehood, their sins are removed, and they are granted forgiveness and pardon from Allah Almighty.

It is mentioned in the Holy Quran:

O believers! If you will fear Allah, He will henceforth bestow upon you that (criterion) with which you may separate the truth from falsehood, and He will remove your misdeeds and will forgive you; and Allah is the Utmost Bounteous.[2]

Imam Khaazin Abu al-Hasan ‘Ala al-Din Ali bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه comments on this sacred verse, “Obey Allah Almighty, and keep away from sin. If you do this, Allah Almighty will grant you light,
