Dear Islamic brothers! In order to develop a mindset of performing worship, keeping fasts and avoiding sinful things like fireworks, etc., in Sha’ban-ul-Mu’azzam, attach yourself to the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, through its blessings, countless people have left lives of sin, and not only have they begun to walk the path of righteousness themselves, rather, in order to reform themselves and the entire world, they have started to take part in the 12 religious works of Dawat-e-Islami. We should also attach ourselves to the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami and take part in the 12 religious works.

Dear Islamic brothers! The religious and worldly benefits and virtues of knowledge have been mentioned in many places in the Quran and hadith. The books of the pious predecessors رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـهُ are also full of them. Let us discuss some of the religious and worldly benefits of seeking knowledge, and its virtues and blessings.

Allah Almighty states in the Quran:

شَهِدَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّهٗ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ-وَ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةُ وَ اُولُوا الْعِلْمِ

Allah has testified that there is no one worthy of worship but Him, and so did the angels and those of knowledge.^[1]

In this verse, after Allah Almighty testifies that there is none worthy of worship except Him, He joins his own testification with that of the angels and people of knowledge. Indeed, this is done to show the great significance of knowledge, and those who possess it. Besides this, other virtues of the scholars have been mentioned in many places of the Quran. Hence, Allah Almighty also states:

وَ تِلْكَ الْاَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِۚ-وَ مَا یَعْقِلُهَاۤ اِلَّا الْعٰلِمُوْنَ(۴۳)

And We illustrate these examples for the people, and no one understands them except the people of knowledge.^[2]
