Then this one-sided lust becomes two-sided, and causes them to become involved in all kinds of sins. Every sensible person can understand this.

The destructions of unlawful love
Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ begins by explaining some of the pitfalls and destruction brought about by unlawful love. He states: “The issue of unlawful love is truly strange, and it is difficult to remove someone from this plight once he has fallen into it. The fire of unlawful love has spread far and wide, and is still spreading. One of the main reasons for this happening amongst the Muslims, is lack of Islamic knowledge and not being in a religious environment.
Due to this, sins have become common everywhere. These are seen on TV channels, mobile phones, the internet, as well as in dramas and films full of lustful content and impermissible images. Adding to this, in newspapers, novels and magazines, one will find all forms of unlawful love and lust being openly discussed without shame.
Young people are especially subject to this calamity, as they sit in mixed classrooms in colleges and university or mix with non-Mahram relatives, eventually becoming relaxed and sociable with them, which causes many young people to be affected by some form of love.
