حَاضِرِی الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِؕ-

Hajj Tamattu’ and Hajj Qiraan are only permissible for those who live outside of the Meeqat. Tamattu’ and Qiraan are neither permitted for those who are in the boundaries of Meeqat nor for those who live therein; they can only perform Hajj Ifraad. Virtues of Hajj

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, every year, millions of Muslims, wearing the same clothing, gather in the Haram to fulfil this obligation, and this moment is nothing short of a tremendous favour upon the Hajis (Hajj pilgrims), for Allah Almighty showers His special grace upon those fortunate people, and He grants them such bounties in exchange for their Hajj that the hearts of the Muslims become even more desirous of visiting those sacred lands after hearing about them. Let us hear four sayings of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم regarding the virtues of Hajj and the Divine bounties that are bestowed upon the Hajis:

1.   He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘The Haji will intercede for 400 (Muslim) members of his family, and he will be free of sins like the day that his mother gave birth to him.’ (Kanz-ul-Ummal, Juzz 5, vol. 3, p. 7, Hadith 11837)

2.   He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Perform Hajj, for Hajj purifies a person of sins just as water washes away dirt.’ (Mu’jam Awsat, vol. 3, p. 416, Hadith 4997)

3.   He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘When you meet a Haji, give him Salam and shake hands with him, and ask him to supplicate for your
