Hajj Kay Fazail or Is Kay Ahkamaat

Book Name:Hajj Kay Fazail or Is Kay Ahkamaat

Possessing devotion is necessary for the Haji

Dear Islamic brothers! Once the Haji has fulfilled the rites of Hajj, he should travel to Madinah Tayyibah in order to visit the blessed Raudah of the Prophet, for visiting the Sacred Raudah is close to Wajib. Sadr-ush-Shari’ah, Badr-ut-Tareeqah, ‘Allamah Maulana Mufti Amjad Ali A’zami رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states (in Bahar-e-Shari’at): ‘If Hajj is Fard, then after performing Hajj, he should visit Madinah Tayyibah. If Madinah Tayyibah is on the route there, then going for Hajj without visiting Madinah Tayyibah is a major deprivation and hardness of the heart, and he should consider this visitation to be a means of the acceptance of Hajj and blessings in the world and the Hereafter. If the Hajj is Nafl, then he has an option to first purify himself through Hajj and then visit the resting place of the Beloved, or to visit the Beloved first and make it a means of the acceptance and illumination of his Hajj. The one who opts to undertake this first, then he has the choice, but he must have a good intention; ‘اِنَّمَا الْاَعْمَالُ بِالنِّیَّاتِ وَلِکُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَّانَویٰ’, i.e. ‘Actions are based upon intentions, and for every person is what he intended.’

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘The one who performed Hajj and visited my grave after my passing, it is like he visited me during my lifetime.’ (Sunan Al-Daar Qutni, vol. 2, p. 251, Hadith 2667) ‘And the one who performed Hajj and did not visit me, he has wronged me.’ (Kashf-ul-Khafa, vol. 2, p. 218, Hadith 2458)

May Allah Almighty bring into our lives those blessed moments and may we also visit the resting place of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and present our Salam respectfully. Undoubtedly, it is the heartfelt desire of a devotee to be able to visit the land of the Beloved صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, for the distances of time and place to be shortened so that he can visit the meadow of the Beloved صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم as quickly as possible. He remains restless in this wish, he makes Du’as and pleads day and night, and then when he receives the glad tidings of visiting Madinah, the withering buds of his heart blossom, the lantern of
