Dear Islamic brothers! The topic of today’s Bayan is ‘Dark grave’; we will be reminded about death and the matters which occur thereafter. It is a request that you listen to the whole Bayan attentively.
One day we shall die, death is final
Dear Islamic brothers, life is an entrustment of death. Every soul that has experienced life shall also taste death. Rich or poor, king or minister, guard or trader, Professor or illiterate, Scholar or non-Scholar, spiritual guide or dervish, Muslim or non-Muslim; in short, regardless of one’s condition, location and endeavour he cannot escape death. For it is mentioned in the Holy Quran, Part 4 Surah Aal-e-Imraan verse 185:
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآىٕقَةُ الْمَوْتِؕ-
Every life is to taste death,
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 04, Surah Aal-e-Imraan, Verse 185)
Regarding this verse the Quranic commentator, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Na’eemi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه writes: ‘Whether it be a human, or jinn, or angel, death will come to everyone except for Allah; and everything (creation) is mortal. (Tafseer Noor-ul-‘Irfan, p. 117)
Part 5, Surah Al-Nisa, verse 78 states:
اَیْنَ مَا تَكُوْنُوْا یُدْرِكْكُّمُ الْمَوْتُ وَ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ فِیْ بُرُوْجٍ مُّشَیَّدَةٍؕ-
Death will come to you wherever you may be, even if you are in strong forts;
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 05, Surah Al-Nisa, Verse 78)
In the commentary of this verse it is mentioned in Tafseer Na’eemi: The time and place of death for every individual has been decreed; no one can evade it through any plan or strategy. Wherever you reside
