of Eids arrived for the devotees of the Prophet; which is more superior than even Shab-e-Qadr.

The well-known Muhaddis, Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis-e-Dehlawi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: Indeed, the night on which the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was born is superior to Shab-e-Qadr, because the night of Mawlid is when the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم graced this world, whereas Shab-e-Qadr is a night that was granted to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Thus, the night which achieved honour due to the arrival of the blessed being of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is more superior and honourable than the night which is honourable due to the descending of angels. (Ma sabata-bis-Sunnah, p. 153)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

O devotees of the Prophet! While staying in the boundaries of the Shari’ah, we should make special efforts to spend this day (12^th Rabi’-ul-Awwal) and the entire month of Rabi’-ul-Awwal in performing good deeds; alongside the Fard Salah, we should make efforts to offer Nafl Salah in this sacred month. Alongside the Fard Salah, we should also offer Tahajjud Salah, the Nawafil of Ishraq and Chasht, Awwabeen Salah, recite the Quran in abundance, give plenty of charity, give the call to righteousness to other Muslims, strive to protect them from sins, travel in the Qafilahs ourselves and take other Islamic brothers with us, take part in the weekly gatherings of Da’wat-e-Islami and try to watch/listen to the Madani Muzakarah for the first 12 days of Rabi’-ul-Awwal.

Dear Islamic brothers! No doubt, we have no guarantee of our breaths; we do not know when these breaths and along with it, our time for performing deeds will come to an end. We should not waste any opportunity for performing good deeds. With the mercy and grace of Allah Almighty, we have once again been honoured to witness the month of Rabi’-ul-Awwal, therefore, we should realise the value of each day of this month and perform good deeds in abundance.
