Faizan e Rabi Ul Awwal

Book Name:Faizan e Rabi Ul Awwal

صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was born on Monday 12th of Rabi’-ul-Awwal. (Lataaif-ul-Ma’arif, p. 104; Mawahib-ul-Ladunniyyah, vol. 1, p. 75)

It is for this reason that the devotees of the Prophet organise gatherings of Mawlid according to their means, and they take a portion from the mercies of Allah Almighty. Let us listen to an account in this regard:

Lights of the angels

Shaykh Waliullah Muhaddis-e-Dehlvi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: I once attended that gathering of Mawlid which took place on 12th of Rabi’-ul-Awwal in Makkah, at the place where the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was born. At the time when the blessed birth was being mentioned, I suddenly saw lights beginning to ascend from that gathering, thus, I began to ponder upon those lights and came to realise that they were the lights of Divine Mercy and of those angels who attend such gatherings. (Seerat-e-Mustafa, pp. 72-73)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! You have just heard that the mercies of The Merciful Lord descend in gatherings of Mawlid, the Divine Lights shower down, the angels of mercy take part in the gatherings of Mawlid and surround those who celebrate Mawlid with their illuminating wings. The Merciful Lord becomes pleased at those who celebrate Mawlid and showers down His favours and bounties upon them. No doubt, celebrating Mawlid, decorating one’s home and streets, and even one’s car with banners, flashing bulbs, colourful lights, increasing in doing good deeds and Salat upon the Prophet when sighting the moon of Rabi’-ul-Awwal, organising gatherings of Mawlid and taking part in them are all a means of attaining rewards and forgiveness.

Whenever we are honoured to take part in a Sunnah-inspired Ijtima’ or watch/listen to the Madani Muzakarah, we should do so with utmost respect and listen with full concentration.

Dear Islamic brothers! Allah Almighty states in part 26, Surah Al-Fath, verse 9:
