honour, goodness and pride; he will wear a turban of pearls and green clothing and enter Paradise; also, he will be granted many palaces and there will be a Hoor in every palace. Send abundant Salat upon the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and celebrate Mawlid and spread it far and wide. (Majmu’ Lateef-un-Nabi, p. 281, selected)
Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis-e-Dehlawi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: Those who celebrate the night of the Beloved Prophet’s صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم birth will receive the following in lieu of their good deed; Allah Almighty will enter them into Paradise with His Grace and Bounty. Muslims have always celebrated the Mawlid, they would give invitations in commemoration of the Mawlid, they would cook food and give plenty of charity. They would express great joy and spend in abundance. They would make arrangements to mention the story of the Beloved Prophet’s صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم birth, and through the blessings of these righteous actions, the Mercy of Allah Almighty descends upon these people. (Ma sabata-bis-Sunnah, p. 155, selected)
Therefore, while remaining in the boundaries of the Shari’ah, we should also undertake special arrangements by spending this month performing good deeds, organise gatherings of Mawlid, take the flags in our hands, take part in Mawlid processions and give abundant charity on this day; اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! We will witness many blessings through this.
