*   One can attain the reward of giving the call to righteousness

*   Da’wat-e-Islami will gain a good name

*   The one who performs ‘Sada-e-Madinah’ continuously makes Du’a for Muslims to perform Hajj and visit Madinah, and if Allah Almighty wills, this Du’a will be accepted in his favour also

*   One gains health through the blessings of walking during Sada-e-Madinah

*   Performing ‘Sada-e-Madinah’ is to wake Muslims for Fajr Salah, and waking the Muslims for Fajr Salah is a Sunnah of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and Sayyiduna Umar رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ

Hence, Sayyiduna Umar Farooq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ would wake the people on his way to the Masjid for Fajr Salah. (Tabqat-e-Kubra, vol. 3, p. 263)

For our motivation, let us listen to an account regarding Sada-e-Madinah:

Blessings of Sada-e-Madinah

An Islamic brother once travelled to a city with the Qafilah of Da’wat-e-Islami. After giving the Azan of Fajr, they were performing Sada-e-Madinah when a modern young boy joined them and performed Fajr Salah with congregation in the Masjid. After that, the father of that boy, who was an affluent person, came to visit the devotees of the Qafilah. He said that through the blessings of ‘Sada-e-Madinah’, his modern non-Salah offering son has started to pray Salah 5 times a day. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, the father of that boy also gave some land for the construction of a Faizan-e-Madinah in that city.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! We were hearing about the virtues and blessings of Rabi’-ul-Awwal and the righteous works that are carried out in this blessed month. The pious predecessors رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـه would observe this month with great reverence, honour, worship and make special arrangements in this blessed and sacred month. In this blessed month, they would undertake special arrangements to celebrate the Mawlid of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم,
