وَ تُعَزِّرُوْهُ وَ تُوَقِّرُوْهُؕ-

And honour and revere the Messenger (the Holy Prophet Muhammad),

[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 26, Surah Al-Fath, Verse 9)

Under this verse in Tafseer Sirat-ul-Jinan, it is stated: In the court of Allah Almighty, honouring and revering the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is highly sought and holds great importance, for Allah Almighty has mentioned the honouring and revering of His Beloved صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم before His own Tasbih (glorification). Mentioning the success of those who, after accepting faith, honour the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Allah Almighty states:

فَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِهٖ وَ عَزَّرُوْهُ وَ نَصَرُوْهُ وَ اتَّبَعُوا النُّوْرَ الَّذِیْۤ اُنْزِلَ مَعَهٗۤۙ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ۠(۱۵۷)

So, those who believe in him, and honour him, and give him assistance, and follow the light (i.e. the Qur’aan) which was sent down with him; it is they who became successful.’

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

O devotees of the Prophet! We were hearing about the virtues and blessings of Rabi’-ul-Awwal. What can be said about the greatness of Rabi’-ul-Awwal! It has a special link with the greatest and most superior being, i.e. the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. It is due to this link that this month enjoys great acclaim and greatness, and its 12^th night was illuminated, because it was in this month that the greatest mercy of The Merciful Lord was granted to us sinners, and when He granted us His Beloved. Therefore, we should show gratitude to Allah Almighty upon receiving this mercy and express happiness at this mercy, for Allah Almighty Himself has commanded us to show happiness upon receiving Divine Mercy. Hence, it is stated in part 11, Surah Yunus, verse 58:
