Book Name:Khush Qismat Kon
and nor do they know how to recite the Holy Quran. Those who can recite the Quran properly, even they do not behold the Holy Quran for months, they do not even touch it. Rather, they give false promises to their Nafs that we will offer Salah abundantly in the month of Ramadan, we will offer Nawafil at night in the month of Ramadan and we will recite the Quran abundantly in the month of Ramadan. In the month of Ramadan, we will read one part of the Quran in the morning and in the evening, whereas, they know that every moment of life is very precious and life is diminishing rapidly every moment. We are moving closer to death but still they show laziness and give false promises to their Nafs.
O devotees of the Prophet! Prove that you are intelligent and instead of undervaluing your precious moments by being engrossed in the deception of this temporary life, make efforts to adopt piety and righteousness. Do not destroy your days and nights in futile acts and worldly pleasures and enjoyments. Rather, offer Salah punctually and make a habit to recite some part of the Quran daily. Do not show laziness in performing those actions which Allah Almighty has commanded for, and busy yourselves in virtuous actions because in Surah Al-Ambiya, Verse 94 Part 17, Allah Almighty has said in relation to those who strive to do good actions:
فَمَنْ یَّعْمَلْ مِنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَ هُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْیِهٖۚ-وَ اِنَّا لَهٗ كٰتِبُوْنَ(۹۴)
So, whosoever does some good deeds and is a believer; his effort will not hence be disregarded; and We are recording it.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 17, Surah Al-Ambiya, Verse 94)
We learn from this verse that: The one with a lofty status and lineage, the wealthy, respected and renowned one is not the fortunate one in the court of Allah Almighty. Rather, the fortunate one is he who has faith, performs good deeds and strives to obey Allah Almighty, regardless of what tribe and community he belongs to, whether he is light or dark skinned, wealthy or poor, man or woman. He is the successful one in the world and the Hereafter.
