Listening to this, Ameer-ul-Mumineen Sayyiduna Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ asked him, ‘Then why did you treat the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم with disrespect?’ Zayd Bin Sa’nah replied, ‘O Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ! The thing is that whatever signs I had read in the Torah about the Final Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, I had seen all of them in his nature, apart from 2 signs. Therefore, I had to test him with regard to the final 2 signs. First, that his politeness will always remain dominant and second when he is treated with ignorance and evilness, his politeness will increase even further. Therefore, in this way, I observed the final 2 signs and I bear witness that verily, he is the true Prophet of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. O Umar (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ)! I am a very wealthy person and I make you witness that I have given half of my wealth as charity for the Ummah of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.’ He then came to the court of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, recited the Kalimah and entered the fold of Islam. صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard the politeness of the Holy Prophet       صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and how he would forgive those who would treat him with disrespect. This is the reason that such a big scholar of the Torah was influenced by the blessed character of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and entered the fold of Islam after reciting Kalimah. Therefore, we must try to act upon this beautiful act of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, implement politeness into our lives and make a habit to be polite, learn to forgive people’s mistakes and ensure we control our tongues, no matter how angry someone makes us, as this will be better for us in this life and the Hereafter.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
