Surah Al Fath Ayat 15 Translation Tafseer

Para 26 - حٰمٓ

سورة الفتح

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

48.15

سَیَقُوْلُ الْمُخَلَّفُوْنَ اِذَا انْطَلَقْتُمْ اِلٰى مَغَانِمَ لِتَاْخُذُوْهَا ذَرُوْنَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْۚ-یُرِیْدُوْنَ اَنْ یُّبَدِّلُوْا كَلٰمَ اللّٰهِؕ-قُلْ لَّنْ تَتَّبِعُوْنَا كَذٰلِكُمْ قَالَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ قَبْلُۚ-فَسَیَقُوْلُوْنَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُوْنَنَاؕ-بَلْ كَانُوْا لَا یَفْقَهُوْنَ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا(15)

Kanz-ul-Irfan

When you will advance towards the spoils of war to collect them, those who remained behind will say, “Let us follow you too.” They desire to change the Word of Allah. [1] Say, “You will certainly not follow us, thus Allah has decreed previously.” So now they will say, “Rather you are jealous of us.” Rather they (the hypocrites) understand very little.

Here, the implication of changing the speech of Allah Almighty is that He sent a revelation to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stating that the spoils of Khaybar are for those who were in Hudaybiyyah; the hypocrites want to change the speech of Allah Almighty by gaining the war spoils of Khaybar without having been there.
