Enemies will no longer be scared
Sayyidunā Thawbān رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ reports that the beloved Prophetصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Soon, nations will summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish.”
Someone asked, “Will this happen due to us being few in number at that time?”
The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied: “You will be numerous at that time, but you will be like reeds in a torrent (i.e. your bravery, courage and strength will vanish), and Allah Almighty will remove your awe from the hearts of your enemies, and put laziness and weakness in your hearts.”
Somebody asked, “O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! What is Wahn [وھن]?” The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied, “The love of the world and fear of death.”[2]
