Condemnation Of Love For The World

Book Name:Condemnation Of Love For The World

Better than the world and all that it contains

The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “A place in Paradise equal to the size of a whip is better than the world and whatever is in it.”[1]

Regarding this blessed Hadith, Shaykh Abd al-aqq Muaddith Dihlawī رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه stated, “A small part of Paradise is better than the world and whatever it contains. Sayyidah ꜤĀˈishah iddīqah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا reports that the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “The world belongs to the one who has no true home, and its wealth belongs to the one who has no true possession, and the one who amasses for it is foolish.”[4]

Sayyidunā Abdullāh b. Umar رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُمَا narrates:
