“O people! Indeed, on the Day of Judgement, the one who will be delivered the quickest from its terrors and accountability will be the person who recited the most ṣalāt upon me in the world.”^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب      صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Speech Intentions

The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:  اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ – “The best of deeds is a sincere intention.”^[2]

Dear Islamic brothers! Make it a habit to form good intentions before every action, as good intentions can lead one to Paradise. Before listening to the speech, we can make the following good intentions:

1.I will listen to the entire speech to gain knowledge.

2.I will sit respectfully.

3.I will avoid being lazy.

4.I will listen with the intention of self-improvement.

5.I will try to convey what I learn to others.

Through its blessings, a person always attains success, gains the ability to show gratitude to Allah Almighty, and manifests signs of high determination, noble thinking, piety, and patience.
