Blessings of Having a Good Opinion

Book Name:Blessings of Having a Good Opinion

Pious Deed Number 52

Dear Islamic brothers! The leader of Ahl al-Sunnahدَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ  is very pleased with those who act upon the 72 Pious Deeds booklet, and blesses them with supplications.

One of these pious deeds is Pious Deed number 52: Have you saved your tongue from sins today (i.e., accusing others, hurting people’s feelings, swearing, etc.)?

This is such a virtuous deed that, by acting upon it, we can successfully save our tongue from many sins. Remember, guarding the tongue, protecting it from lying, backbiting, tale-bearing, and swearing is very important, as Allah Almighty has also commanded us to guard our tongues. The protection of the tongue is the foundation of all goodness. Therefore, we must safeguard the tongue by acting upon this pious deed.

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to act upon all 72 pious deeds.
