Ḥanafī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه gave him special care, guidance, and attention in his education and upbringing.^[1]

Supplication of a majdhūb saint

In the town of Imam al-Suyūṭī al-ShāfiꜤī   رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه  lived a majdhūb saint named Shaykh Muḥammad  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه . Since the noble father of Imam al-Suyūṭī  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه  and his entire family were devotees of the Awliyāˈ, they regularly visited the shaykh. Imam al-Suyūṭī  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه narrates: “When I was a child and my father was alive, I was taken to Shaykh Muḥammad  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه  and he made a supplication of blessings for me.”^[2]

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! Dear Islamic brothers, we have learned that taking our children to the Awliyāˈ and pious individuals, and asking them to supplicate for the children is an old tradition among Muslims that carries immense blessings. Look at the blessings that manifested from the supplication of a majdhūb saint for Imam al-Suyūṭī  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه , which elevated him to a lofty rank.

Seeing the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم 77 times in a state of wakefulness

Dear Islamic brothers! Allah Almighty blessed Imam Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī al-ShāfiꜤī  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه  with many special honours. Among them was the great blessing of seeing the beloved Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .

Yes, Imam Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī al-ShāfiꜤī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was that exalted personality who was blessed with the vision of the beloved Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  not only in dreams, but while fully awake- not once, but 77 times. ^[3]
