Book Name:Blessings of Imam al-Suyuti رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه
before he sits; and whoever recites it while sitting, his sins will be forgiven before he stands.’[1]
صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ
Whoever recites this Durūd, 70 portals of mercy are opened for him.[2]
4. The reward of 600,000 Durūd
اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ عَدَدَ
مَا فِیْ عِلْمِ اللّٰہِ صَلَاۃً دَ اۤ ئِمَۃًۢ بِدَوَامِ مُلْكِ اللّٰہِ
Shaykh Aḥmad Ṣāwī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه reports from some saints that the one who recites this Durūd once receives the reward of reciting Durūd 600,000 times.[3]
5. Nearness to the Distinguished Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ کَمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرضٰی لَہٗ
One day, somebody visited the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, and he صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم made him sit between himself and Sayyidunā Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ. The noble Companions رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُم were surprised as to who that honoured person was. When he left, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘When he recites
