Book Name:Blessings of Imam al-Suyuti رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه
entirely. From then on, he devoted his time solely to writing books and worshipping Allah Almighty.[1]
He authored hundreds of books, and there are very few Islamic subjects on which he has not written. He wrote many books on Tafsīr, Hadith, Taṣawwuf, the remembrance of the Hereafter, and Fiqh. In short, one can generally find a book or booklet authored by him on almost every topic in Islamic sciences.
Imam al-Suyūṭī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه and His Service to the Parents of the noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
Among his scholarly works, a very important contribution is his six treatises in which he proved that the noble parents of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم were Muslims.
There were some people who, مَعاذ َاللہ, did not believe the Prophet’s parents were Muslims. Imam al-Suyūṭī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was likely the first scholar to formally write on this subject. Not just one or two, but six separate treatises, in which, using strong proofs from the Quran and Hadith, he demonstrated that from Sayyidunā Ādam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم up to Sayyidunā ꜤAbdullāh and Sayyidah Āminah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا, every man and woman in the lineage of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم were Muslims, righteous, worshippers, pious, and among the most honourable people of their time.
Those Islamic brothers who can read Arabic should definitely study these six treatises of Imam al-Suyūṭī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه . There is good news for those who cannot read Arabic: A comprehensive Urdu book titled Aakhri Nabi ke Walidain Kareemain has been uploaded to Dawat-e-Islami’s website: www.dawateislami.net. Download it, read it, and invigorate your faith.
