Gaflat Ka Anjam

Book Name:Gaflat Ka Anjam

We must remember that it might be possible to make every difficult task easy in the world using money, but if we are punished in the grave due to our misdeeds, will our money benefit us then? If we are unable to answer Munkar and Nakir, will our wealth avail us then? If snakes and scorpions attack us in the grave, will our money save us? Will our wealth become a means of comfort for us during the terrors of Judgement Day? Will our wealth help us to avoid Hell? No! Rather, in those difficult circumstances, it is our good deeds, which we are heedless of today, that will save us.

How can I remain happy?

Sayyidunā ꜤAwn b. ꜤAbdullāh رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said:

How heedless am I, even though there will be no heedlessness shown when it comes to my accountability? How can my life be pleasant, even though a difficult Day is soon to come? Why am I not active in action, even though I do not know my time of death? How can I remain happy in the world, even though I will not live here forever?

How can I give preference to the world, when those before me who did this earned nothing but harm? How can I adore it when it will come to an end? Why should I desire it when my destination is somewhere else? Why should I grieve (over the passing of the world), because, by Allah, I do not know what will happen to me on account of my sins![1]

How to avoid heedlessness

Dear Islamic brothers! You have just heard about how our pious elders would always remain occupied in thoughts of the Hereafter to protect themselves from heedlessness and greed.
