* Supplications are accepted due to it.
* Offering salah provides one with physical comfort.
* Through salah, one attains blessings in their livelihood.
* It stops immodest and evil actions from occurring.
* Offering salah on time is greater than any other action.
* The greatest bounty for those who offer salah is beholding Allah on the Day of Judgement.[1]
Therefore, we must most certainly offer salah. We should do so in the masjid with the congregation, and with the opening takbīr. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه We will gain countless blessings in this world and the Hereafter.
Allah Almighty declares in the 45th verse of Surah al-ꜤAnkabūt:
اِنَّ الصَّلٰوۃَ تَنْہٰی عَنِ الْفَحْشَآءِ وَ الْمُنْکَرِ ؕ
certainly the salah prevents evil and indecency[2]
The speech of Allah Almighty is complete truth. There is not even a shadow of doubt in it. As Allah Almighty announced, salah certainly protects one from evil and indecency.
We now come to an important point of discussion. If we look around us, we find many Muslims who do not offer salah. This does not mean they all miss salah; of course not. Every masjid or locality has a certain number of Muslims who do pray. Yet, on occasion, those who pray may still harbour several evils within them.
