Book Name:Namaz Mein Khushu Laney Ke 27 Madani Phool
Dear Islamic brothers! The second etiquette of salah is to offer it with full focus and attention. For example, when we are performing ablution, our hearts should be full of humility and the supplications associated with ablution should be recited (if we are not in a bathroom).
When we begin salah and say اللہُ اکبر, our focus should entirely be upon Allah Almighty. We should try to learn the translation of everything we recite in Salah, such as Surah al-Fātiḥah, other surahs, the tasbīḥāt of rukūꜤ and sujūd, tashahhud, and ṣalāt upon the Prophet, etc. When we offer salah, we can then focus on the meaning of what we are reciting.
When standing in salah, focus your gaze upon the place of sajdah. In rukūꜤ, look at the top of your feet. After standing upright from rukūꜤ, look towards your chest. In sajdah, look towards your nose, and in tashahhud, towards your lap. In this way, offer your salah with calmness and focus. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه You will enjoy it more and also gain its full spiritual effect.
Sayyidunā ꜤUqbah b. ꜤĀmir رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates:
I saw the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم standing to advise the people, declaring, “The Muslim who performs ablution well and then offers two units of salah with outward and inward focus, Paradise becomes wājib for him.”[1]
Sayyidunā Abū Hurayra رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ reports that the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared:
