Khwaja Garib Nawaz Aur Neki Ki Dawat

Book Name:Khwaja Garib Nawaz Aur Neki Ki Dawat

Some of the most accomplished scholars on Earth were around him, and I ensured to show utmost manners. He instructed me to offer two units of salah, which I did. He then told me to sit facing the qibla and recite Sūrat al-Baqarah.

Upon finishing, I was told to recite ṣalāt upon the Prophet 21 times. My shaykh told me, “Our way is to strive for one day and night. Spend an entire day and night in worship!”

I did as he said and came the next day to meet him again. He told me to look towards the sky, and after I did, he asked, “How far can you see?” I replied, “I can see up to the ʿArsh.” He told me to look at the ground and asked, “How far can you see?” I answered, “I can see down to Taḥt al-Tharā (the lowest terrestrial level).”

He instructed me to recite Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ a thousand times, and once I finished, he told me to look at the sky again and asked how far I could see. I answered, “Up to the veil of grandeur.” He said for me to close my eyes, which I did. I opened them when he told me to. After this, he told me to look at his finger, upon which I saw eighteen thousand worlds.

My shaykh then told me to pick up a nearby brick, under which I found a huge amount of gold coins. “Take these,” he said, “and distribute them amongst the poor.”[1]

اللہُ اَکْبَر Dear Islamic brothers! This was the first time Khāja Muʿīn al-Dīn met his shaykh. In their very first meeting, eighteen thousand worlds became visible to him. After the extensive worship he performed after this, and the blessings he attained from the company of his shaykh, there’s no knowing what high ranks he achieved in the future.
