for Khāja Muʿīn al-Dīn. He accepted Islam at the hands of the man he intended to kill and became his student.^[1]

Responding to evil with good

Dear Islamic brothers! All the servants of Allah possessed good character and never retaliated to evil with evil. Instead, they responded with goodness and kindness. May Allah grant us the ability to do this too! اٰمِيۡن 

Allah states in the Quran:

اِدۡفَعۡ  بِالَّتِیۡ  ہِیَ اَحۡسَنُ السَّیِّئَۃَ ؕ

Repel evil with the best of good deeds.^[2]  

Dear Islamic brothers! The unparalleled good character of these people is what caused non-Muslims to accept Islam, and it is why Islam spread across the world.

If only we too were passionate about spreading Islam! If only we had good character, forgave, overlooked things, and responded to evil with good. If only our character had softness, love, and wisdom, so we could also call to Islam which is the most beautiful of ways. 

The greatest of speech

Allah says in the Quran:

وَ مَنۡ اَحۡسَنُ  قَوۡلًا  مِّمَّنۡ دَعَاۤ  اِلَی اللّٰہِ  وَ عَمِلَ  صَالِحًا
