*The animal of ‘Aqeeqah should meet the same conditions as the animal of Qurbani (ritual sacrifice). You can distribute its meat to the poor, your relatives, your friends or loved ones either uncooked, cooked, or you may also invite them to a meal and feed them that meat. All these cases are permissible. (Bahar-e-Shari’at, vol. 3, p. 357)

   *If you were unable to do so on the 7^th day, you may do so whenever you can. The Sunnah will be fulfilled. (Bahar-e-Shari’at, vol. 3, p. 356)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Du’a at the time of kissing thumbs

In the study circles of the weekly Sunnah inspired Ijtima’ of Dawat-e-Islami this week, the ‘Du’a at the time of kissing thumbs’ will be learnt. The Du’a is as follows:

صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْکَ یَارَسُوْلَ اللّٰہِ0

قُرَّۃُ عَیْنِیْ بِکَ یَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰہِ0

اَللّٰہُمَّ مَتِّعْنِیْ بِالسَّمْعِ  وَ الْبَصَرِ0

Translation: ‘O Messenger of Allah (صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم)! May Allah send His perfect mercy upon You. O Messenger of Allah (صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم)! You are the coolness of my eyes. O Allah! Make me the one who benefits from (the ability of) seeing and hearing.’ (Khazeena-e-Rahmat, p. 96)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)

Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years.
