Book Name:Rishtay Daron Kay Sath Acha Sulook Kejiye

‘reciprocation’ is taking place. If one relative invites you to a wedding ceremony, you invite him then and if he does not invite you, so you do not do either. If he alone invites many members of your family, and you invite few members of his family so it is seriously taken, lots of criticism is made and backbiting is committed. Unfortunately, due to having lack of Islamic knowledge, nowadays this attitude is becoming widespread in the society that in the matters of dealing in any occasion, reciprocal approach is adopted – we will also give the same amount of money which we were given - some unwise people do not attend the funeral Salah of their relative when he dies; they do not take part in each other’s joy and sorrow due to being angry with each other over petty issues they have become enemies of each other. Similarly, they also boycott the party of the relative who does not attend any of their party and thus distance between both of them increases further. If someone does not attend our party, we can take many aspects of good presumption such as he might have been ill, forgotten, might have
had an urgent piece of work or he might have had some compulsion which was difficult for him to explain, etc. Whether or not he tells us why
he did not come, we should have good opinion of him to earn reward and make our way to enter Paradise. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: حُسْنُ الظَّنِّ مِن حُسْنِ الْعِبَادَۃِ i.e. Having good opinion is from excellent worship.

Talking about different meanings of this blessed Hadees Hakeem-ul-Ummat Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Na’eemi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has written: i.e. Having good opinion of Muslims and not having bad opinion of them are one of the acts of good worship. (Mirat-ul-Manajeeh, vol. 6, pp. 621)

Palace in Paradise will be given to the one who…

For example if any of our relatives does not come to us out of laziness or by reason of anything deliberately or does not invite us to his party, but rather he treats us harshly in front of everyone, even then we should not lose heart and should maintain our relations with him. Sayyiduna Ubay bin Ka’b رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated that the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: The person who likes that a palace for him [in Paradise] be built and his ranks be elevated should forgive the one who oppresses him, should bestow upon the one who
