Destruction of worldly wealth

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated that the Beloved Rasool      صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘The earth will spit out its beloved ones who will be like the pillars of gold and silver. Seeing it a murderer will say: I murdered because of it (wealth). One who broke off relations will say: I broke off relations because of it (wealth). Seeing it a thief will say: My hand was cut because of this wealth. Then all of them will leave the wealth and no one will get anything from it. (Muslim, pp. 392, Hadees 1013)

Regarding the above-mentioned blessed Hadees Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Na’eemi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has said: That time gold and silver will become very insignificant and their excess will make them very insignificant. Then feeling sad sinners will say, ‘Alas! Our body parts were cut because of this insignificant thing.’ (Mirat-ul-Manajeeh, vol. 7, pp. 258)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Have you heard! The love of the world and the wealth of this world are so destructive that they compel a person to break off relations with relatives. So we still have time; we should come to ourselves and get rid of the love of the world and the wealth of this world. We should get out of the bad habit of becoming sullen on trivial matters. We should be soft-hearted for our relatives. If any of our relatives apologizes to us, we instead of being proud of our wealth or post should not delay forgiving him. Whether we are millionaires or billionaires we should make reconciliation with our displeased relatives ourselves and deserve to get the reward in the Hereafter. We should not become heedless in fulfilling their rights. We should make true repentance of breaking off relations with relatives without any Shar’i reason forever. In order to attain this thought we should associate ourselves with the Madani environment of Dawat-e-Islami, a Madani movement of devotees of Rasool, and start performing 12 Madani activities of Zayli Halqah regularly.
