perpetually under the burden of their favours and have never been able to get rid of them. It is for the reason, repeatedly disclosing & reminding favour after assisting someone has been made one of the causes of deprivation of Jannah and getting away from Divine mercy.
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Bin ‘Umar رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا narrated, the Noblest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated, ‘Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will not have mercy upon three people on the Day of Judgement: The one who is disobedient to parents, the habitual drunkard and the one who discloses his favours after giving something. (Shu’ab-ul-Iman, vol. 6, pp. 192, Hadees 7877)
Sayyiduna Abu Sa’eed Khudri رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ narrated, the Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: The one who is disobedient to [his] parents, the habitual drunkard and the one who discloses his favours will not enter the Jannah.
