Kafan ki Wapsi | The Return of the Shroud
یٰۤاَ یُّہَا ا لَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡ ا لَا تُحَرِّ مُوۡا طَیِّبٰتِ
مَاۤ اَحَلَّ اللہُ لَکُمۡ وَ لَا تَعۡتَدُوۡ ا ؕ اِنَّ اللہَ لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُعۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۸۷﴾
O believers! Do not make unlawful the pure things, which Allah has made lawful for you, and do not trespass the limits (of Allah); indeed Allah dislikes the transgressors.

On
which date should the Kūnḋay of Rajab be prepared?
The Niyāz of Kūnḋay can be performed at any time throughout the whole month of Rajab, in fact at any time of the whole year, whenever one wants. However, it is appropriate to perform Niyāz of Kūnḋay on 15th of Rajab because this is the day of the ‘Urs of Imām Ja’far Ṣādiq رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ, as it is stated in Fatāwā Faqīĥ-e-Millat, volume 2, page 265: Perform the Niyāz for the Īṣāl-e-Šawāb of Imām Ja’far Ṣādiq رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ on 15th of Rajab as he رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ passed away on the 15th.
It is stated on page 59 of Sharḥ-e-Shajaraĥ Qādiriyyaĥ (published by Maktaba-tul-Madīnaĥ), ‘A cruel and heartless person poisoned Imām Ja’far Ṣādiq رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ on 15th Rajab, 148 Ĥijrī, when he رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ was 68 years old which was the cause of his martyrdom.
