Pait ka Qufl e Madina | The Excellence of Hunger
اَلۡـحَـمۡـدُ لِـلّٰـہِ رَبِّ الۡـعٰـلَـمِیۡنَ وَ الـصَّـلٰـوۃُ وَ الـسَّـلَامُ عَـلٰی سَـیِّـدِ ا لۡـمُـرۡ سَـلِـیۡنَ
Method of Delivering Dars from Faizan e Sunnat
Say the following three times:
‘Please come closer.’
Then, observing veil within veil, sit in the position you sit in for Ṣalāĥ (in Tashaĥĥud) and recite the following:
اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ وَالصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلٰي سَيِّدِ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَ
اَمَّا بَعۡدُ فَاَعُوۡذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيۡطٰنِ الرَّجِيۡمِط بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡـمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِط
Then recite the following Ṣalāt-‘Alan-Nabī, making the participants of the Dars repeat after you:
|
وَعَلٰى اٰلِكَ وَاَصۡحٰبِكَ يَا حَبِيۡبَ اللّٰه |
|
اَلصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيۡكَ يَا رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰه |
|
وَعَلٰى اٰلِكَ وَاَصۡحٰبِكَ يَا نُوۡرَ اللّٰه |
اَلصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيۡكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللّٰه |
If you are in a Masjid, say the following words, with the participants repeating after you, making the intention of I’tikāf:
نَوَيۡتُ سُنَّتَ الۡاِعۡتِكَافِ
Translation: I have made the intention of Sunnaĥ I’tikāf.
Then say the following:
‘Dear Islamic brothers! Come closer and, if possible, in respect of Dars, sit in the position you sit in for Ṣalāĥ (in Tashaĥĥud). If you get tired,
