Bughz-o-Keena | Malice And Hatred
Bear no malice and hatred towards anyone in your heart
Sayyidunā Anas رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ narrated that the Prophet of Raḥmaĥ, the Intercessor of the Ummaĥ, the Owner of Jannaĥ صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said to me, ‘يَا بُنَيَّ! اِنۡ قَدِرۡتَ اَنۡ تُصۡبِحَ وَ تُمۡسِيَ لَيۡسَ فِيۡ قَلۡبِكَ غِشٌّ لِاَحَدٍ فَافۡعَلۡ’ O my son! If you could possibly spend your morning and evening without bearing any malice and hatred towards any person then you should do the same. (Sunan-ut-Tirmiżī, Kitāb-ul-‘Ilm vol. 4, pp. 309, Ḥadīš 2687)
It implies that in everyday life, we must keep our heart clean and free from impurities like malice and hatred towards our Muslim brothers then it will be visited by Anwār-e-Madīnaĥ (the spiritual lights from Madīnaĥ). A smoked mirror and a bad heart are not respectable. (Mirāt-ul-Manājīḥ, vol. 1, pp. 172)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Who is eminent?
Sayyidunā ‘Abdullāĥ Bin ‘Amr رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ narrated that the Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was requested to state about the one who was superior amongst people. The Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Every person who has a sound heart, and is true to his words.’ People said that they had known about the one who was true to his words but they had known nothing about the one with a sound heart. The Greatest and Holiest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘هُوَ التَّقِيُّ النَّقِيُّ لَا اِثۡمَ فِيۡهِ وَلَا بَغۡيَ وَلَا غِلَّ وَلَا حَسَدَ’ i.e., He is such a pure person who has no streak of sin, rebel, malice and jealousy. (Sunan Ibn Mājaĥ, Kitāb-uz-Zuĥd, vol. 4, pp. 475, Ḥadīš 4216)
