Bughz-o-Keena | Malice And Hatred
A renowned commentator of the Glorious Quran, Ḥakīm-ul-Ummat Shaykh Muftī Aḥmad Yār Khān عَـلَيْهِ رَحْـمَةُ الْـمَـنَّان in connection with this Ḥadīš has stated, ‘These maladies completely destroy religious faith and belief and sometimes a person leaves Islam due to malice and jealousy. Satan has also been a victim of these two maladies.’ (Mirāt-ul-Manājīḥ, vol. 6, pp. 615)
Musalmān ĥay ‘Aṭṭār Tayrī ‘aṭā say
Ĥo Imān per khātimaĥ Yā Ilāĥī
(Wasāil-e-Bakhshish, pp. 78)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
6. Du’ās (supplications) are not answered
Sayyidunā Faqīĥ Abul Layš Samarqandī عَـلَيْهِ رَحْـمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـقَوِی has said, ‘There are three persons whose Du’ā is not answered. First, who eats Ḥarām second, the one backbiting (a lot) and third, the person bearing malice or jealousy in his heart towards his Muslim brother.’ (Durra-tun-Nāṣiḥīn, pp. 70)
Dear Islamic brothers! Du’ā is the best medium of communication with our Rab عَزَّوَجَلَّ for our needs to be fulfilled and through the same medium bondsmen find their hearts’ desires or the treasure of the Hereafter but a malicious person is deprived of the acceptance of his Du’ās (supplications) due to his malice.
Mayn mangtā Tū daynay wālā
Yā Allah mayrī jĥaulī bĥar day
(Wasāil-e-Bakhshish, pp. 108)
