a patient who is not about to die and utters these words 7 times, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will cure him from that disease:
اَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ الْعَظِيْمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْـعَظِیْمِ اَنْ يَّشْفِيَكَ
i.e. I ask for your cure from Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Who is Great and the Owner of the great ‘Arsh. (Abu Dawood, vol. 3, pp. 251, Hadees 3106)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
1. To visit a patient is Sunnah.
Knowing that if you go to visit the patient, he will not like it; then one should not visit under these conditions.
If someone visits a patient and notices his critical condition, he should not disclose it to the patient that he is in critical condition, neither should he node his head which indicates that the patient is serious.
Such things which he likes should be talked in front of him.
Inquire about his health.
Do not place hand on his head, unless he wishes it.
