All Believers of Islam celebrate with great reverence the Urs of the Greatest Lover
At the Global Madani Markaz Faizan-e-Madina,
Karachi, a spiritually enriching Shab-e-Mi‘raj gathering
will be held on Friday,
16 January, after ‘Isha
prayer, on the 27th
night of the blessed month of Rajabal-Murajjab.
This gathering will be filled with illuminating discourses on the wisdoms, subtleties, and divine
secrets of the Night Journey (Isra) and Ascension (Mi‘raj).
The great miracle of Mi‘raj of the Master of Mi‘raj and Isra, the Seal of the Messengers, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, stands as clear evidence of the subjugation of the universe by divine command.
The observation of the cosmos, the vastness of the earth and
heavens, immense distances, the journey through the skies, realms beyond the
heavens, and the hidden secrets of creation—all are profound themes of the journey of Mi‘raj
undertaken by the Noble Prophet ﷺ.
In reality, the Night of Isra is a beautiful manifestation of the exalted status, honor, and supreme leadership (Imamat-e-Kubra) of Allah’s final Messenger, Prophet Muhammadﷺ.
To highlight the historical
significance of the event of Mi‘raj and to explain the religious wisdoms of Isra and Mi‘raj
in the light of the Qur’an,
Hadith, and authentic books of Seerah and history, this
Shab-e-Mi‘raj gathering is organized.
Every year, at the Global Madani Markaz Faizan-e-Madina, Karachi, a special Mehfil of Mi‘raj and Isra is arranged so that the exalted rank of the Leader of all Prophets ﷺ maybe expressed through beautiful poetic recitations.
On this occasion, the beloved
devotee and eulogist of the Prophet ﷺ, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat,
presents the Qasida-e-Mi‘raj
in his distinctive and heartfelt style, captivating the audience.
Scholars
express their views on the religious
significance of the event of Mi‘raj.
In this night filled with divine mercy, heartfelt reflections on the Bridegroom of the Night of Isra are
shared.
Naat reciters present garlands
of devotion and love in the sacred court of the Messenger ﷺ.
The respected preacher of Dawat-e-Islami, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, enlightens the participants with the religious wisdoms of the event of Mi‘raj in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah, and also graciously responds to the questions of the attendees.
