Valuable Services of FGRF in Assisting Flood Victims in Northern Areas, Especially District Buner

The changing global climate is increasingly impacting Pakistan, and its effects have left many of the country’s most beautiful regions severely damaged. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in areas devastated by floods, thriving towns were destroyed, precious lives were lost, livestock was swept away, and entire homes were reduced to rubble. These natural disasters not only marred the scenic beauty of the northern regions but also cast a shadow of sadness over the lives of their inhabitants.

In such dire circumstances, when relief activities were being witnessed from various directions, the practical efforts of FGRF (Faizan Global Relief Foundation)—the welfare department of Dawat-e-Islami—stood out and became a source of attention and hope for many. FGRF’s social workers, along with Dawat-e-Islami’s responsible members, preachers, and teachers, were all seen actively engaged in helping their Muslim brothers.

The once captivating and colorful mountains of Bashunei village in District Buner, adorned with its enchanting landscapes, now stand as ruins, with every house bearing the scars of destruction and serving as a reminder of the calamity. Smiling faces have been replaced with sorrow and despair. Witnessing this grim situation in Buner, Dawat-e-Islami’s devotees of the Prophet ﷺ from across the world generously contributed donations, enabling FGRF’s dedicated volunteers to carry out relief activities.

Through FGRF, every possible arrangement was made for the people of Buner: tent settlements were established, medical supplies were delivered, paramedical staff were appointed, and food, medicines, as well as financial assistance, were provided to those struggling with hardships.

Drawing upon its vast experience in humanitarian service, FGRF also assisted in rescuing the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and relocating them to safer places. Dawat-e-Islami’s representatives, alongside FGRF, are working tirelessly, day and night, to restore the vibrancy of life in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Standing shoulder to shoulder with the determined and courageous volunteers of FGRF, every compassionate soul is encouraged to light their share of the lamp and, by trusting FGRF, take part in these mutual relief efforts.
