Dawat-e-Islami to Hold "Welcome Rabi' al-Awwal" Gathering at Nishtar Park, Karachi on 26 July

Even before the blessed month of Rabi' al-Awwal begins, believers make respectful and dignified preparations to celebrate the blessed birth of the Last Prophet, Muhammad ﷺ. Out of their love for the Beloved Messenger of Allah ﷺ, they strive to illuminate their hearts with the love of the Prophet while renewing their commitment to follow his noble Sunnah.

As part of these preparations, streets and neighborhoods are beautifully decorated, gatherings highlighting the Seerah (life and teachings) of the Prophet ﷺ are organized, and lovers of the Prophet recite beautiful Na'ats (poetry in praise of the Prophet ﷺ) in accordance with the teachings of Shariah. These activities aim to strengthen the love of the Prophet ﷺ and encourage practical adherence to his blessed example.

Dawat-e-Islami, the global Islamic movement dedicated to reviving the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, organizes Welcome Rabi' al-Awwal gatherings every year to promote a respectful and Shariah-compliant understanding of expressing happiness on the occasion of the blessed birth of the Prophet ﷺ.

As part of these efforts, a grand Welcome Rabi' al-Awwal Ijtima (congregation) will be held on Sunday, 26 July 2026 (11 Safar 1448 AH) at Nishtar Park, Karachi. Thousands of devotees of the Prophet ﷺ from across Karachi are expected to attend this spiritually uplifting gathering.

Renowned scholars and preachers of Dawat-e-Islami will deliver inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of following the noble Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ and expressing gratitude and joy over his blessed birth in a manner consistent with Islamic teachings. The gathering will also include the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, heartfelt Na'ats in praise of the Prophet ﷺ, and slogans expressing love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, spreading the message of welcoming Rabi' al-Awwal to Muslims around the world.

The educational, spiritual, humanitarian, and welfare services of Dawat-e-Islami continue to serve as a shining example of its mission to convey the teachings of Islam to both Muslims and non-Muslims. The Welcome Rabi' al-Awwal Ijtima will take place after Isha prayer on Sunday, 26 July 2026, at Nishtar Park, near Numaish Chowrangi, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi.
