Under the banner of Dawat-e-Islami, the global religious movement of the lovers of the Prophet ﷺ, a grand Rabi-ul-Awwal Welcoming Congregation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Muhajir Colony Ground, Sukkur.
On this blessed occasion, Haji Ubaid Raza Attari Madani, a respected Khalifa (spiritual disciple) of the founder of Dawat-e-Islami, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, will attend and deliver a special address to the participants.
Dawat-e-Islami is organizing such Ijtimah across the country to raise awareness among Muslims about celebrating the 1500th Mawlid (birth anniversary) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with love, devotion, and gratitude.
The Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ is a spiritual event observed by Muslims worldwide with deep reverence. These gatherings, conferences, and Sunnah-inspired assemblies highlight the Seerah (life and teachings) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, present tributes of love and devotion, include the recitation of Hamd and Naat, and the collective sending of salutations (Durood Sharif) upon the Beloved Prophet ﷺ.
The event also emphasizes the blessings and divine mercy that descended at the time of the Prophet’s birth, as explained in authentic Hadith. Scholars present evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah regarding the significance of Mawlid, encouraging participants to strengthen their commitment to following the Sunnah and to seek religious knowledge through the environment of Dawat-e-Islami.
Through its unique spiritual style, Dawat-e-Islami prepares communities for Mawlid processions and celebrations, ensuring that Muslims express their love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with devotion and passion as they commemorate this historic 1500th Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ.
